Oh my, it's such a long time since I last visited grandma and grandpa. (Feeling extremely guilty...) Finally on last weekend, I decided to follow my mom to grandma's house and had a nice evening teatime ( Yumcha~) with them. Although grandma always claimed that her eyesight is blur, that day she did see a white spot on my left cheek! This is what Chinese call 汗斑 which can be directly translated as "tompok peluh" in BM..haha..because, according to what the elders said, the spot arises due to our habit of bathing or washing our face when we're still soaked in sweat.
As the teatime's over and we reached home, my grandma quickly went into the kitchen, took a knife and cut a large piece of Aloe Vera leaf off the plant. She then gave it to my mom and remind me to rub it on my face and the white spot area. I didn't really took it into my mind UNTIL just now I opened the refrige and WOW!!! what a GIANT piece of ALOE VERA!! It's of 35cm ++ long and I think I can use only that piece to do around 10 times of facial masks in half a year's time ( according to my frequency of applying facial mask) Oh my dear grandma, how had she bear the heart to cut such a big leaf off the plant she planted for so long?? Would she feel a slight pain as she placed the knife at the base of the leaf?? I guess I found the answer : She must be missing me and loving me so much! ( More than her love for the plants!)
Thanks Grandma! I love you too! I have just applied your love on my face¬
You make me realised
I have been loved by you and many others in my life :)
