Whenever an event comes into and goes out of my life, I believe that
I am One Step Nearer to My Dream,
One Step Nearer to My Soul!
BE Grateful of what I have
BE happy of who I am
BE good and kind to the others
Be positive in thinking
And
Do my BEST in everything as I can.
Leave no regrets or disappointments
learn the lessons from past
Grab every chance that knocks my door
Always remind of my family, relatives and friends
Make my life meaningful
And
Grow in a way I want to.
Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu. =)

14th of August - The most Meaningful Day for All!!!

Finally....Relieved!!!

After countless days and moments of anxious waiting, eventually the AS results are released!!! Today is a lucky day, and this is the season of hope and happiness! At least, the majority of the JPA students have passed their exam with flying colours! Smiles were seen everywhere and people around just can't stop laughing and sharing their fruits of success to their parents! Being so nervous, i was so reluctant to step out my foot towards Miss Joanne, not until i have mustered up enough courage! However, when i peeked into my results( it was just the first on the top of the certs), I just cant help screaming "WOW!" and hoping up and down -It is...it is just high above my expectations : 3 flats and Bio with 98/100! Oh my,thank god! As what i can remember, i did quite bad in my Chemistry. I left 1 question worthy of 1 mark unanswered and few which were written with not-so-correct answers. So, having expected that my Chemistry might get a lower score, i have to rub my eyes when i saw a perfect score printed beside Chemistry. I might not have deserved to get this mark but anyway i shall be very grateful for what i got! Thanks god and all my family and friends which has given me encouragement and support in my studies! And yes, congrats to the 4 perfect scorers, jin may, 194, Paul and Xin yi! For those who get A but still unsatisfied with their results, all I have to say is Contentment is the greatest happiness! Comparison would just let us down, thus I think that as well as you have reached the goal you set for yourself there's nothing to be mourned for and worth yr tears. Be happy of what u have now, ppl!

**For all my JPA friends, you have done a great job and thus keep it up! A2 would be much harder but we would definitely not bow down to it! IT is not going to be the obstacle to reach our dreams!

Well, today is a big day for Kenny and Aylwin too! They must be facing double pressure- the release of alvl results and also the practical exam! However, they both did an excellence perfomance in their gu zheng and piano exam which could probably bring them a high score, and guess what, they got the same excellent results in Alvl too!

And so how did we celebrate the rest of the day?? After the afternoon lesson, a few of us - me , dudu, lai hui, yun yi, poh kaey, Daniel and Kenny went to Secret Recipe to treat ourselves with some delicious cakes ( although it doesnt suit my taste )! and then from 3 to 5 i have had a vry relaxing nap before i went for dancing. Everything seems so wonderful and at night we had a nice dhamma class with brother Mui Han who always brings us a lot of laughter! Tonight, he even brings his girlfriend along! Pity for heartbroken Houlebor~

Oh my, the interesting part is yet to come~ after dhamma, Generous Aylwin bought a whole box of J. co. Doughnuts and gave us a treat . Erm ,basically it's me, dudu, yun yi, kenny, and daniel who ate most of them. hehehe..Then i spent about half an hour watching the videos taken on JPA seniors and Juniors gathering. There's a big gathering inside dudu's room and we all joyed in laughter to see all the silly stunts and tainted faces of the participants! It is so memorable that we all can't wait to see another similar event to be held in ucsi. And THEN, i went downstairs with dudu and sat in the cafeteria of the ground floor. Initially we have some wine given by generous Aik Jin and then incidentally a guiter was there and we started singing pop songs with the accompaniement of aik jin's guitar playing! The most "lum" song should be JJ's " Dou Jiang You Tiao"~ Unbelievably, Daniel Kenny Yun Yi and Dudu are good high pitch singers and one day, ONE day pls,we must really come out and rock in either the greenbox or red box karaoke!!!

We would have keep on singing if it is not Dudu who declared the dismiss of the singing session. About 12.30 i started packing my luggage for my wonderful trip to Melacca, Ipoh and Kedah tomorrow! Although the meaningful 14th august has just ended, i think i seriously have 2 jot down the things which meant something to me b4 i could sleep! Anyway, that's the end of my story, at 2.27am- and good night my friends!

L.I.Z.A.R.D.

I'm just feeling the urge to scribbe here. Despite the fact that i have still a lot to go in the journey of Microbiology world.

A small, appr. 4 cm in length lizard has been staying " harmoniously" with me and my roommate since last week. It causes no troubles- just some " surprises" whenever it hops up in front of us, acting like a Celebrity making us YELLING and SCREAMING. Oh, it is my roommate who has been doing so. Tonite, the same thing reveals..That gives me the inspiration to write a special article abt it. Illi and Fatin is pretending to be ok now, coz the lizardis now at the wall where Fatin's bed lies! I just remain calm and silent and rational as usual. I think i have been coping well with lizards when i am at home...haha..

Basically i don't know how it manages to survive for such a long period of time. There is no single mosquito flying in my room. No water, unless it could open my water bottle or worse, crawl into my mouth when i'm sleeping(eww, that's digusting!). Once, it just jumps down from the wall on the floor, saying " Surprise!" and this morning, it even crawls undermybed! ( how dare it!)

Oh my, it disappears again! What does it think itself is? somesort of batman or robin hood? It will later appear at somewhere else in my room... But pls, not on my pillow or desk!

Cheers for Dodge ball game!

Oh yeah, since so many of my friends had described in detailed the whole process of the sports day, I will save some energy by just jotting down some memorable and happy memories we had that day.

1. " Covalent! Covalent!" Me and Dudu had used up all our energy to scream as loud as we can to cheer for our representatives of JPA 2,3 in participating Captain Ball, versus Daniel's Group! We just couldn't care less about our image and I guess we were screaming like siao po that time! We who have initially supported Daniel, 194 and their team have turn our side to the Covalent group. What I can is it is one of the most exciting captain ball league I had watched that day! The cooperative spirit was fully manifested by the Team members, which is the most precious value we should develop and appreciate in this event! During the next half partof the game, Kenny was in and he had also played his best part in scoring marks for our team. In conclusion, this game has definitely enhanced the united spirit of our class and thus I can say Covalent is so successful in reaching the aim of the sports so there's nothing to be sad over even we lost in the game! A question to ask, where isn't there a net ball society in UCSI??

2. Everyone's stressed when it is our turn to take part in the Dodge Ball competition. Although Sheeila had been constantly giving motivating speech to us, it doesn't really make an effect in sweeping away all the butterflies in our stomache. ( Sorry for Sheeila!) However, Sheeila is undoubtedly a good leader as she took full care of her team members (including me!). She led us to a warming up of body before the game and clarified all our doubts regarding the rules and regulations of the game. When the game is over and we were "knocked out" by JPA1,3 (again!), she comforted us and told us that we have been doing a great job. (although she had wanted to win this game so much!) She then continued her job as a referee of the semifinal and final dodge ball game. A special compliment for Yun Yi, being the last one in the court and the bravest to confront 4 opponents at the same time! Yet she was not easily defeated and still did her best to defend herself from being hit by the ball! Cheers for her courage!

After all, Shouting like crazy and playing and running freely in the MPH was the best part of the day. It has been such a long time since the last time I got excited during my high school campfire. Still having tonnes of energy after being knocked out of the game, I, Dudu and Yun Yi played basketball and volleyball at the court, again losing our image as guai guai nv (obedient girl)! We stayed there and watched the final Dodge game and cheered for Daniel's group which is against JPA juniors! Congrats them for winning the champion! I'm now longing desperately for the coming up of other events so that I could fully utitlize my sound waves to its peak!

A little thought on Math

Just wanna record one of my sudden tiny thoughts here.

I have always loved Maths for the imperishableness of its strong principle and formulas through the age. When a certain mathematical theory is invented or discovered, it's truly proven and could be applied under all circumstances. It doesn't change it's rules nor it becomes inapplicable due to certain cases. However, it requires the clear analysis on the whole situation and discretion of the person on manipulating the formula. As for me , that's the most interesting part of Mathematics! No matter how hard or " weird" a certain question is, bear in mind that u just have to strongly hold to the mathematical principles that u have learned, and with a little analysis done on what the question wants, you'll then know to use what strategy or formulas to solve the whole thing.

It's just like our life. The ones we have learned, as a result of accumulation of experience or through education - the moral values and your principles of life is incredibly similar to those mathematical formulas. As well as we strongly behold to the things we have faith in, they will always guide us through all the vicissitudes that we are going to encounter during the voyage of life. The thing is, do you have the clear vision on the plight you are having now? You can't probably arrange for the strategy without analysing the problem beforehand. As the saying goes,' Practice makes perfect", a mathematics expert will not be born without having to test the knowledge by himself. Just like what we do in school, we practice so that we fully understand how to utilise the formula. Only through the practice, we make ourselves flexible enough, or, should say the formula flexible enough to be used in different situations. Life is nothing different. A human being must have encountered a certain problem before he gain the knowledge of solving it. Nothing is exempted including our body immune system!

The way we learn math is just like how we learn to behave as a human being. To live we must not lose our faith and our basic principles as a man. Losing them is like losing the guidance for your inner self and you'll somehow wander in the outside world without even knowing that you are lost.
