A silent night

It has been such a long time, since the last time I have such a silent night! Tomorrow is finally a weekend not filled with any particular events (the one I remembered seems to be centuries ago) , I just feel so so relaxed and relieved today. No stress on homework, no rush on doing things. A homely feel night. ARRRR~~~ it is so enjoyable. It is a carefree and silent night ( although dudu was still 24 hour on the phone with me~)

Recalling the past few weeks, I have had gone through the busiest time i had since I landed on UK. Two weeks ago, we went to Plymouth; last week, I had an unforgettable weekend staying with a British family. It was really exciting!!! Nonetheless, I was busy, and sometimes I lost my direction. I was somehow lamenting why am I making myself so busy for, since I actually have the freedom to choose an easier life to live. But as I looked back my initial aim of having so much of these activities, I knew that I won't regret, years later, that I have spent some time on doing these. Most importantly, I was actually enjoying myself so much in the progress of learning!!! Practising ballroom dance on Tuedays, French on Wednesdays, cello on fridays, and added the obliged responsibility of practising BAMSA dance on Mondays and Thursdays fill up all my nights during week days as I am usually a bit exhausted after coming back from the classes. Telling the truth: I am actually seriously slacking on my studies! That really gets me haywire! It's hard to get a really silent night to get on my studies and at this time time management is really important. I know I have to live my life with much consciousness so that I am not a mere blind who lives a busy life. There is a quote in Buddhism said, when you're totally concentrate on what you're doing, there's nothing than you cant do. Jiayou!!!

These are not important right now. Just want to spend the rest of the night in a very enjoyable way, just as when I'm at home. Listen to music, a little revision perhaps, and the book Way to Buddhahood should accompany me to bed. Tomorrow, I plan to have a refreshing kick start with a morning meditation ( long abandoned..!) . Let's call it an end with a picture I love so much:

That's my friend. We were in a huge piece of farmland, just behind the house of a British host family. Running on a huge piece of grassland was once my childhood dream.
